Defence Childcare Program (DCCP)
Details
Description
The Australian Department of Defence (Defence), through the Defence Childcare Program (DCCP) provides childcare services to assist mobile families, or Australian Defence Force members where the local community is unable to meet the demand. On average military families are moved by Defence to a new locality approximately every two to two and half years additionally the family’s childcare requirements will alter throughout this posting period.

Defence provides access to childcare through the provision of a range of services such as; long day-care, outside school hours care and, individual case management services.
Defence childcare centres are employer-sponsored and consist of seventeen long day-care and three outside school hours care centres located across a national footprint which assists in meeting the needs of Defence families.
The Contractor will operate and manage all Defence Childcare Centres, Defence Outside School Hours Care facilities, and Individual Case Management services.
