Provision of Risk Management Benchmarking Services
Details
Description
The Department of Finance and Deregulation (represented by Comcover) invites suitably experienced parties to submit tenders for appointment as the Service Provider for Risk Management Benchmarking Services (RMBS).
Comcover is the Australian Government’s self-insurance fund, administered by Comcover within the Department of Finance and Deregulation.
Comcover delivers a range of insurance and risk management services to approximately 160 Australian Government agencies (Fund Members) through outsourced service provider arrangements. Further background information can be found at the Comcover website www.finance.gov.au/comcover.
Comcover’s benchmarking program commenced in 1991. Since this time, the program has been used to measure the development of Fund Member agencies' risk management frameworks and programs at both a strategic and operational level. Strategically, the program provides Comcover with a measure of agencies' risk management capability on an annual basis. Results from the program are used to measure Comcover’s performance, identify opportunities for improvement across the fund and inform the continual development of Comcover’s risk management and education programs.
