Description

The Office of Australian War Graves (OAWG) is part of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) and is responsible for the official commemoration in perpetuity of those whose deaths have been attributed to their war service.

Those veterans whose deaths have been accepted as war related are generally commemorated by means of an individual headstone, plaque at a grave site, in a Garden of Remembrance or at a crematorium.

Tenders are invited to undertake construction services of official memorials for the Office of Australian War Graves. The successful tenderer will be required to construct new memorials, demolish, remove spoil and rebuild existing memorials, replace grave infill, including granite chips and remove, construct and replace ‘A’ Type desk and re-attach new and existing bronze plaques as specified in Attachment A and in accordance with the conditions in Attachment B.
