The key objective of the Review of the Housing Authority (HA), its related entity Keystart, and various key service areas (Public Housing, Community Housing, Aboriginal Housing, Land and Housing Development) is to answer the following high level questions:
- Is the HA delivering the right mix of services to achieve the Government's desired outcomes in teh context of the Housing Act 1980 including the State Affordable Housing Strategy?
- What opportunities exist for the HA to improve value for money, ie is the agency delivery the right services in the right way?
- What are the appropriate structural arrangements for the delivery of housing services in this state?
