Recruit Transit Accommodation for Headquarters Training Command-Army

Headquarters Training Command-Army (HQ TC-A) invites responses to a Request for Tender (RFT) for the provision of accommodation, meal and transfer services for recruit intakes transiting through Sydney and Melbourne.

HQ TC-A manages the movement of recruits from all over Australia to the Army Recruit Training Centre (ARTC) at Wagga Wagga, NSW for initial training. A large number of these recruits transit overnight through Sydney and Melbourne. HQ TC-A requires transport, accommodation and meal services in these locations to accommodate recruits prior to their coach travel the following day to ARTC. For management and efficiency, it is essential that tenderers provide a single point of contact for the day to day management of these services and that accommodation is located within a 5 km radius of both Sydney and Melbourne airports.

It is envisged that a contract will be implemented by January 2006, for an initial period of two years, with a possibility of a further two years extension.
