Wodonga - Leneva Spine Sewers - Package 1 Sewer Crossing

North East Water (NEW) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Principal Contractor under a Design and Construct (D&C) contract for the construction of gravity spine sewers in Leneva, Wodonga. These spine sewers will form critical infrastructure to enable development to occur within the Leneva growth area.

The works will include installation of the sewer crossings via trenchless methods under both Baranduda Blvd and Middle Creek. It will also include a temporary connection into the existing Middle Creek SPS and installation of a return line to send peak flows to the Baranduda WWTP during wet weather events.

The Principal Contractor will be responsible for all associated works, including but not limited to the following:

· Detailed Design of all components outlined below (preliminary design will be supplied by the Principal).

· Obtaining all necessary approvals and permits.

Spine Sewer 1

· Open cut installation of DN1000 GRP Gravity Sewer (approx. 10m, approx. 8-9m depth).

· Trenchless installation of DN750 GRP Gravity Sewer (approx. 210m, approx. 8-9m depth).

· Supply and installation of DN2400 MH1-1 (Inc drop boards) approximately 8-9m depth to invert

· Supply and installation of DN2100 MH1-2 and MH1-3 (Inc drop boards) approximately 6-8m depth to invert

Spine Sewer 2

· Trenchless installation of DN600 GRP Gravity Sewer (approx. 65m, approx. 6-7m depth).

· Supply and installation of DN1800 MH2-1 approximately 6-7m depth to invert

Spine Sewer 3

· Trenchless installation of DN600 GRP Gravity Sewer (approx. 75m, approx. 8-9m depth).

· Supply and installation of DN2100 MH3-1 approximately 8-9m depth to invert

Temporary Connection into Middle Creek SPS and Return Line

· Open cut installation of DN300 Gravity Sewer (approx. 85m, approx. 8-9m depth) to connect spine sewers into existing Middle Creek SPS.

· Supply and installation of DN1800 MH1342 approximately 8-9m depth to invert

· Return Line (Rising Main) to Baranduda WWTP – approx. 240m DN315 including associated valves and fittings.

· Actuated valves and pits.
