Description
The Integrated Information Resource System “IRIS” is a business-critical application that supports LLS project management and grants administration functions. IRIS has been subject to a three-year change freeze due to the implementation of MyLLS and the future development of its proposed replacement solution. This freeze has hindered regular updates, bug resolution, and there has been no version release since 2021. Consequently, IRIS currently lacks certain user functionalities, necessitating the use of workarounds, and falls short of meeting cybersecurity requirements, making it non-compliant with the mandatory Framework. Urgent fixes are now required to ensure that IRIS is up to the task it was designed for.
