Description
The METRONET office is seeking Engineering and Land Use Planning (ELUP) consultants to help plan and design the Byford Rail Extension.
The project to extend the Armadale Line to Byford is progressing through the planning phase, with this tender intended to define the project’s scope and concept design as part of the Project Definition Plan (PDP) phase, in accordance with the Public Transport Authority’s (PTA) Project Management Framework (PMF) and Engineering Management for Projects (EM4P) procedures. Once completed, this work will inform Government’s investment decision on the project before going out to the construction market.
Organisations with strong multi-disciplinary engineering and design capabilities in the following areas are being sought to support the project.
- Rail system engineering and design
- Precinct design and place planning
- Infrastructure and services design
