Description
Central Institute of Technology (Central) seeks the provision of Manual Handling Training workshops to students enrolled in courses in the Health and Lifestyle portfolio in particular Enrolled Nursing students and Registered Nursing Lecturing Staff.
The successful Respondent shall run workshops as required for Manual Handling incorporating current recognised principles related to manual handling in the health care sector. These workshops are to include but are not limited to:
• OH&S;
• Safe patient handling including handling patients in bed, wheelchair, chair, car, standing and aided walking;
• Use of hoists and slings; and
• Lifting of other objects and loads.
