Cultural Mentoring for Townsville
Details
Description
The purpose of this funding is to purchase a client-centred, culturally safe service for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander males and females aged 10-17 years in the Townsville area who are involved with the youth justice system, or are at risk of entering the youth justice system.
We are seeking a program designed by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community which is aimed at assisting both young males and females to develop their own sense of cultural identity through connection to family, kin, culture and country.
