PROVISION OF DESIGN SERVICES EARLY WORKS AND TRUNK INFRASTRUCTURE - COMMONWEALTH GAMES VILLAGE

The Queensland Government (the State) wishes to engage a Contractor or a Consortium of Contractors to provide Design Services for Early Works and Trunk Infrastructure (the Early Works) for the 2018 Commonwealth Games Village (the Games Village) at Gold Coast Parklands (Parklands).

The Early Works will include:
• bulk earthworks
• construction of trunk roads including Hospital Boulevard and Main Street
• construction of trunk infrastructure including water, waste water, stormwater, electrical and communications
• formation of the park and overland flow detention infrastructure.

The scope of services required includes urban design, landscape architecture, water sensitive urban design (WSUD), civil engineering (earthworks, roadwork, stormwater drainage, water and sewerage reticulation), cost control, design risk assessment, topographical survey, geotechnical investigation, environmental assessment, traffic engineering, street lighting, electrical and communications reticulation.

Services related to demolition of existing buildings are excluded from this scope.
