Supply of One (1) 8-8.5metre Aluminium Patrol Vessel with Foam Collars and Aluminium Trailer

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) require the supply of one (1) 8-8.5metre aluminium vessel with foam collars and aluminium trailer for the greater Karratha District. The vessel design must be highly suited to extended day trips and for coming alongside vessels at sea, to transfer personnel and conduct inspections. The vessel will travel distances of up to 200nm daily in deteriorated sea conditions, so it is essential the hull shape maximises ride comfort. Shade is an essential feature for the working deck and helm, as is ventilation and protection from spray. Long range is essential, as the vessel will be operating up to 300nm return trip from base. The combined mass of the trailer and vessel complete with all fuels, fluids and operational equipment, including the tow ball weight, shall not exceed 3,800kg.
