The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) is Australia’s national nuclear research and development organisation and the centre of Australian nuclear expertise. ANSTO is responsible for delivering specialised advice, scientific services and products to government, industry, academia and other research organisations.
ANSTO Business Operations and Systems Division is responsible for establishing supply contracts for the site wide requirements of gases. Individual Divisions who use the gases are responsible for the specifications of gases and volumes required.
Current Contract for the supply of Bulk & Bottled Gas services to the ANSTO site expires on 31st December 2017.
The purpose of this RFT is to specify the requirements for the contract to the supply of bulk liquid Nitrogen, Liquid Argon, Liquid Helium and other compressed cylinder gases for a three (3) year period (with an option to extend for two more years at the discretion of ANSTO) commencing from 1 st January 2018 to both ANSTO Lucas Heights and ANSTO Syncrotron Site in Clayton, Victoria.This document will form part of the supply contract after the award of contract post tender. ANSTO’s preference is to engage single supplier for both Lucas Heights and Clayton Victoria. However ANSTO at its discretion may treat both locations as separable portions
