Previous investigations identified the presence of coal material within the soil of Leased areas 5 and 7 in the Kewdale Freight Terminal. As part of the redevelopment of the area and for geotechnical implications the coal material is required to be excavated. The total volume amount required to be excavated from the Lease areas is approximately 2,490m3 of soil.
