Australian Government Department of Industry, Science and Resources
Supply, installation and delivery of an Automated Chromatography System
Details
Description
The National Measurement Institute (NMI), the Australian Ultra Trace Laboratory (AUTL) analyses environmental and food samples on a cost recovery basis, which requires a high throughput of samples and specified reporting deadlines. One of the analysis steps in the laboratory requires column chromatography, which requires use of specialised materials to purify sample extracts.
This procurement is to acquire, install and commission an automated chromatography system for purification of sample extracts to allow analysis of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) such as dioxins, poly chlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and poly brominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs).
Accordingly, the Department invites suitably qualified consultants/contractors to submit a tender for the supply, installation and delivery of an Automated Chromatography System.
Interested suppliers are invited to respond to this EOI by the closing date on the coversheet.
