This contract is for the NSW Spectacles Program assists the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in NSW with free optical appliances through a network of approved participating optometrists and optical dispensers. The objectives of the program are that: • Optical appliances are provided to vulnerable and disadvantaged people; • Supplied at no cost to the individual; • NSW service network coverage is maintained; • Products are of good quality, namely lasting two years; • Efforts are made to reduce the administrative burden on participating optometrists and optical dispensers; • The program integrity and use of public funds is monitored and assured; and The number of optical appliances supplied is maximised
