Provision for Quarry Materials

Provision of Pavement Materials & Pre-coated Screenings to Isis Highway 17-19km west of Biggenden.

REQUIREMENTS & TIMING
Type 2.1 – 8000 tonnes – December 2016 - March 2017
Type 2.3 – 2500 tonnes – November 2016 – February 2017
Type 2.5 – 7000 tonnes – November-December 2016
14mm Pre-coated screenings – 350 tonnes – May 2017
10mm Pre-coated screenings – 250 tonnes – Nov 2016 –March 2017
Rock – maximum 150mm – 250 tonnes (provisional quantity)
Bedding sand – 100 tonne
Backfill material – 100 tonne

Note: All granular products will be required to be delivered direct on road whereas the screenings will be delivered into stockpile.
In addition due to the Type 2.5 material being required in the widening it is intended that this quantity be delivered in side tippers.

The rate of delivery for any Type of material is envisaged to be in the 750 tonne/day range.

Material Conversion
For the purposes of evaluation each Offeror shall include details of the relevant conversion rates of the respective materials.
