Goldfields-Esperance Regional Drought Resilience Plan

Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) along with the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commision (GEDC) is seeking a Contractor to develop the deliverables of the RDRP program for the Goldfields-Esperance region.

These deliverables must include:

1. A Drought Vulnerability Assessment (DVA) that identifies water resources and associated infrastructure across the Goldfields Esperance region, and spatially links these assets to community vulnerability. The DVA will inform the development of the Regional Drought Resilience Plan.

2. A Regional Drought Resilience Plan focused on water security in the Goldfields-Esperance region, informed by a community co-design process. The Plan will include prioritised actions and pathways to implementation, to support drought resilience and water security across the region.

3. Community and stakeholder consultation activities to develop the DVA and Regional Drought Resilience Plan and achieve community-wide support for the Plan.

4. A Project Report including the research, raw data and engagement undertaken to develop the deliverables and outlining next steps including further investigations, feasibility and pathways to implementation of the Plan.
