RFT0117 - Timber and Green Waste Processing (Mulching Services)

Tenders are invited to establish a Contract for the provision of timber and green waste processing (mulching services).

Council is seeking to establish a Contract for provision of on-site shredding where shredded product remains the property of Council, or alternatively, removal and off-site treatment of green waste and timber material where the product becomes the property of the contractor. Council would be willing to buy back a minimum volume of treated/processed mulch should contractor offer discounted prices for the treated/processed product and for services sought by this invitation to tender.

Tenderers must be registered with the Queensland Government QTender site to be able to download documents, request information and submit a Tender.

Suitably endorsed Tenders close at the below website address at 2pm on 15 October 2019. In accordance with s228(8) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (Regulation), Council may decide not to accept any tenders it receives.

In accordance with s288(9) of the Regulation any accepted tender must be the one deemed most advantageous to Council. It is noted that the lowest price tender may not be the most advantageous.
