Provision of Low Voltage Project Engineering Services for the Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie Cockburn Link Projects

The Public Transport Authority’s (PTAs) Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery (OMTID) Branch is responsible for the delivery phase of the METRONET transport related Infrastructure Projects. There are various projects currently in the Delivery phase. PTA requires the services of an experienced Low Voltage Project Engineer for the Yanchep Rail Extension (YRE) and Thornlie Cockburn Link (TCL) Project during the Delivery phase of the Project.

The Consultant’s key personnel will be required to provide single discipline support and technical expertise as it relates to Low Voltage Engineering within the OMTID team supporting the following Projects:

1. 1. 1. 1. Yanchep Rail Extension Project (YRE)

The Yanchep Rail Extension project will deliver approximately 14.5km of new rail from the existing Butler Station north to Yanchep. The project will deliver three new stations at Eglinton, Alkimos, and Yanchep. The project is currently in the delivery phase, with construction activities underway. 1. 1. 1. 1. Thornlie-Cockburn Link Project (TCL)

The Thornlie-Cockburn Link project will be Perth’s first east-west cross line connection. The project will connect the existing Thornlie Station with the existing Cockburn Central Station, building two new stations – Nicholson Road Station and Ranford Road Station.
