Description

Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) is currently involved in a project for rehabilitation and conservation activities for Banksia woodland within 45km of the Jandakot airport. This project has the objective of increasing the area and condition of Banksia woodlands, with similar biodiversity values to the Jandakot Airport bushlands:
This project is planning to undertake topsoil transfer to assist revegetation of Banksia woodland, as dictated by the timing of the availability of topsoil from Jandakot Airport (JA) in early 2012.
DEC is seeking qualified and experienced respondents to harvest, transport and re-spread topsoil from an area of approximately 20ha from Jandakot Airport to several locations in the surrounding area (Refer to Schedule 2 Specifications/Statement of Requirements).
