Description
The Department of Justice requires a suitable platform for Body Worn Cameras and a Digital Evidence Management System. This initiative aims to enhance staff safety and wellbeing, modernise, and enhance security through footage (evidence) captured, and contribute to reducing the financial burden associated with incidents. This procurement process seeks to appoint a suitable supplier to provide the Department of Justice (Department) with approximately 349 body worn cameras with an integrated digital evidence management system (DEMS).
Through the procurement and implementation of the Platform, the Department aims to modernise its capability and capacity to capture and share quality audio and video evidence, reduce occupational violence and aggression in the workplace, reduce the incident-related financial burden on the State, and build community confidence in the justice and correctional system.
