Gympie Regional Council is calling for tenders from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to prepare the Gympie Region Economic Development Strategy 2017 – 2022 (The Strategy), with the aim of identifying, assessing and evaluating future opportunities and challenges for the Gympie region.

In accordance with s228(8) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (Regulation), Council may decide not to accept any tenders it receives. In accordance with s288(9) of the Regulation any accepted tender must be the one deemed most advantageous to Council. It is noted that the lowest price tender may not be the most advantageous.

Contractors will also note the attached Code of Conduct when considering tenders of the Gympie Regional Council. The Code applies to all permanent, temporary, casual or part-time employees of Council. Other persons engaged to undertake activities or control resources on behalf of Council (eg. contractors, consultants) must also be familiar with and follow the spirit and content of the Code.

Tender will close Via QTenders at 2.00 pm Tuesday 29 August 2017.
