WA Department of Transport
Purchase of Motorcycles for Metropolitan and Regional Driver Assessors
Details
Description
The Department of Transport (DoT) currently owns a fleet of 17 motorcycles used to conduct Practical Driving Assessments (PDA). These motorcycles are currently allocated across both Metropolitan and Regional business units.
A review has been conducted into the age and usage of the current fleet for the purpose of identifying possible savings and for the purchase of replacement motorcycles. It has been determined that a trade in of the existing fleet, and purchase of 19 motorcycles will meet future PDA demands, comprising 15 for Metropolitan DVS centres and four (4) across Regional DoT offices.
