The Department of Justice and Attorney-General (“DJAG” “the Customer” “us” “we” “our”) is the government agency responsible for administering justice in Queensland. We deliver diverse services through our courts and tribunals, legal and advocacy services and through a range of community-focused programs, policies and services, including
- administering the court system
- administering tribunals and agencies established to protect Queenslanders’ rights
- providing community justice services
- providing legal advice to government
- administering justice business and executive support services.
Our objectives
Our objectives for this procurement activity are to:
- ensure continuity of safe, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective cleaning services at courthouses
- inspire confidence in the Queensland judicial system by ensuring buildings are appropriately presented and maintained.
- provide local small to medium enterprise suppliers the opportunity to tender.
- enhance community outcomes by engaging sustainable and socially responsible suppliers.

“Please note that during this tender and tender response evaluation period, Queensland Government will be in Caretaker Mode and relevant conventions apply. We draw your attention to Clause 21 of the General Conditions of Contract – Termination for convenience. In the event of an incoming government (either existing or new) not wishing to proceed with this project, we reserve the right to invoke this Clause. Please note that the Caretaker period ends when the incoming government is sworn in.”
