Centralised Computing Services for the Australian Taxation Office

The Tax Office is seeking to work with a strategic partner so as to support the Tax Office business directions for 2010 and beyond including improving and enhancing the CC environment by addressing the following business outcomes:
- reliable and available operations that support the business and peak processing periods and provide transparency of inventory and capacity;
- introduction of technology and processes to improve the flexibility, adaptability and reliability of the CC environment to support the business change agenda;
- rationalisation and optimisation of the CC environment to improve efficiency and reduce costs;
- improved ICT responsiveness to business demands and priorities;
- transition to new arrangements and facilities with uninterrupted delivery of Tax Office business; and
- a service provider that works collaboratively and proactively with the Tax Office and its other partners in a multi-sourced environment focussed on business outcomes.
