Particulars
The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is seeking to procure independent economic analysis to assess the impact of proposed changes to waste levy settings, including levy rates, boundaries and concessional rates, on: resource recovery rates, ratepayers, the economy. Also, to identify any potential perverse outcomes that could undermine the intent of the levy. This work will form part of the EPAs advice to the NSW Government on potential changes to waste levy settings in NSW.
