Description
North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) requires the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of two (2) Radiopharmaceutical Synthesis Units for the dedicated production of Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) as part of the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Radiopharmaceutical Production and Development (RAPID) Cyclotron Capital Works Project at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH). A high volume FDG radiopharmaceutical FASTLab2 module is required for business continuity. RAPID PET Laboratory of Medical Technology and Physics (MTP, SCGH) is sole supplier of cyclotron generated PET radiopharmaceuticals to the WA patients (public and private). PET radiopharmaceutical is used on a daily basis for the diagnosis, staging and management in oncology, cardiology and neurology.
