Description

Marian is part of the Mackay Regional Council and is located to the west of Mackay in the Pioneer Valley. The existing drinking water for the townships of Marian and Mirani are supplied from groundwater bores. However, the bores are over allocated and from time to time experience quality issues. For these reasons Council has determined to construct a new water treatment plant (WTP) in the township of Marian. This will service both townships via the existing reticulation system.

Council proposes that the new Water Treatment Plant be developed and completed under a Design and Construct (D&C) contract which is the subject of this Expression of Interest.
