The ANAO is undertaking the planning phase of the audit of Defence's 2022-23 financial statements in accordance with the ANAO Auditing Standards. As part of our planning the ANAO considers it necessary to engage a valuation expert to review work performed by Defence's expert over specialist military equipment (SME).
