Description

REQUEST TITLE: SECONDARY FAMILY SUPPORT NETWORK - INNOVATION SITE ARMADALE

REQUEST NUMBER: DCP12211

ISSUED BY: THE CHILDREN AND COMMUNITY SERVICES MINISTERIAL BODY THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT FOR CHILD PROTECTION

The Children and Community Services Ministerial Body through the Department for Child Protection is seeking offers from interested Not-for-Profit organisations to provide a secondary family support network for an innovations phase in the area of Armadale. Consistent with the Delivering Community Services in Partnership Policy, only organisations that comply with the Not-for-Profit status, Local Government Authorities or Religious/Charitable organisation status and Metropolitan current Preferred Service Providers funded for recurrent services by the Department are eligible to respond to this Request. The network will integrate services that support families and young people to maximise or promote the developmental needs, safety and wellbeing of at risk young people and children, and address the risks and crises that young people and families may experience.

Working in partnership, the not-for-profit community services sector with the Department for Child Protection, and relevant government departments, have committed to deliver major reform aimed at integrating the range of family support services across Western Australia. It is intended that this will be achieved largely through the establishment of secondary family support networks (www.whereto.org.au)
