Description
The Strategic Transport Evaluation Model (STEM) is a transport demand forecasting model which resides at the Department of Planning WA (DoP). Output of the model is required for several important projects being undertaken by the Department of Transport (DoT) including the Moving People Network Plan (MPNP), the refinement of the 20-year Public Transport Network Plan and the demand assessment for the proposed Inner City Light Rail project (LRT).
In order to provide the best possible patronage forecasts for the LRT system, some improvements to STEM are required.
The Consultant will work within a team together with staff from the DoP and DoT in order to complete the work within the anticipated timeframe.
