A Panel to Progress Information Development Priorities Work under the National Mental Health Strategy

The Department of Health and Ageing is to establish a Panel of suitably qualified and experienced individuals and organisations. The Department will use the Panel as the pool from which to select tenderers to undertake a range of individual information development projects under the National Mental Health Strategy.

The Department is now seeking tenders from suitably qualified individuals and organisations to become members of the Panel. Over the next two years, the Department will select from the list of successful tenderers, the most appropriate Panel members to undertake a wide range of individual projects. While the Department may conduct open tenders for some projects, the Panel will be its principal method of engagement in relation to this body of work. Please note, however, that membership of the Panel is not a guarantee of work.

The types of work that may be required from Panel members include: the preparation of technical and non-technical papers; the development and delivery of training materials; provision of secretariat support; the refinement and development of psychological instruments and national indicators; and the evaluation of national strategies and major projects and programs.
