Catering Services for the SACFS State Training Centre, Brukunga SA

The South Australian Country Fire Service (SACFS) is seeking a supplier to provide catering services at the State Training Centre in Brukunga SA.

The SACFS State Training Centre provides catering services to fire and emergency service clients, government agencies and private commercial user groups both from South Australia, interstate and overseas.

The State Training Centre operates seven (7) days a week with the majority of the training being conducted on weekend’s from March to December. Bookings are ‘light’ in the months of January and February.

The State Training Centre is an operational facility that may be utilised as a base camp for responding to emergency incidents at short notice.

When responding to emergency incidents, the State Training Centre may operate continuously for 24 hours, for several days at a time. A catering service is required to support these requirements. This Invitation to Supply (“ITS”) relates to the provision of full catering services and limited provision for cleaning services associated with the kitchen and dining rooms.

The SACFS proposes a five (3) year contract term, consisting of:

• Initial Term: Three (3) years.
• Extension Option: Two x one (1) year (3+1+1)

It is anticipated the Agreement will commence in July 2021.
