Description
Background
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) Network & Infrastructure: Electrical Engineering Branch require a current carrying dropper product to install preferentially on the PTA electrified network in Western Australia. This encompasses 466km of electrified network infrastructure. The Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) maintenance team will be installing these droppers in a campaign to replace insulated stainless-steel droppers in critical areas over the next 5 years.
Scope of Requirement
The overhead line dropper product must be a complete set including the:
- dropper wire;
- dropper clips; and
- any associated fasteners or fittings installed with the dropper.
