supply and installation of environmentally friendly mooring (EFM) systems in the Northern Great Barrier Reef

Installation of 20 x Environmentally Friendly Mooring (EFM) systems at locations in the northern Great Barrier Reef suitable for vessels up to 35m in length and 34 knots of wind (A – D size classes).
Identified installation locations will include areas in the geographic scope of Magnetic Island (off Townsville) as the southern extent and Ribbon Reef 5 (east of Cooktown) as the northern extent, and is most likely to include sites at the following locations:
• Magnetic Island
• Orpheus Island
• Dunk Island
• Barnard Islands
• Frankland Islands
• Michaelmas Cay
• Low Isles
• Mackay Cay
• Opal Reef
• East Hope Island
• Ribbon Reef 3
• Ribbon Reef 5

It is possible that one or more additional locations outside this geographic scope may be requested following contract award. For this reason a pro-rata costing (eg. $/ extra day, $/ extra hour, $ / extra nautical miles travelled) for additional locations requested outside the geographic scope detailed above should be indicated in the Supplier’s pricing schedule.
