Description
The project relates to the purchase of a 10 – 11 metre, aluminium, foam collared, patrol vessel for the QPWS.The new vessel is to fulfil the day-to-day management role of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park - performing a range of tasks including; Island National Park Maintenance, Compliance Monitoring, Dive Platform and Research. It will predominantly operate within the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area and adjacent mainland coastal areas.
