Description

The Primary Care Division (PCD) of the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing (the Department) is seeking offers from suitably qualified individuals and/or organisations to form a panel for a Standing Offer Agreement that may be drawn from to undertake a range of projects targeted at the evaluation and review of the delivery and/or impact of health programs managed by the Department.
The PCD manages a variety of programs requiring ongoing performance evaluation to provide evidence of quality, cost-effective and appropriate strategies to achieve program objectives. Information on PCD programs can be obtained from www.health.gov.au/pcd/
The panel will be drawn on for a variety of projects which will require the development and implementation of appropriate and reliable methodologies (ie replicable) for evaluation research and data analysis. Tenderers should demonstrate:
a sound understanding of the Australian Health System;
experience in working with a variety of service providers and consumers, including special interest groups such as Indigenous and diverse cultural and linguistic groups;
experience in undertaking both single and multi-site evaluations.

Information gathered during these projects will be used to inform future government decision making in areas of research, treatment, management and service needs, and planning and policy development.
