Description
As part of its strategy to tackle family and domestic violence (FDV) the WA Government has committed to the “trial of FDV Forensic Services capability to give authorities the best chance of securing convictions against perpetrators by providing specific diagnosis, evidence collection and reporting on FDV cases”.
The Clinical Forensic Service (CFS) will provide the quality of evidence which is critical to securing criminal convictions by utilising clinical forensic experts to assess and document injuries resulting from FDV and provide expert opinion in any resulting prosecution.
The Department is seeking to engage a skilled social service provider to deliver high quality and culturally sensitive FDV - focussed social support services to women engaged with the FDV Clinical Forensic Service (CFS) pilot.
