Supply of Electrical Maintenance Services at Whiteman Park

This Contract is to provide electrical and data network maintenance services within Whiteman Park. These include electrical maintenance, minor modifications and installations of electrical services, Local Area Network (LAN) cabling, inter-building fibre optic cabling, and temporary works associated with events and festivals.

A number of buildings within Whiteman Park are leased from Whiteman Park and are excluded from this Contract, however services or repairs associated with these buildings / facilities may be required under this Contract subject to mutual agreement between Whiteman Park, the lessee and the Contractor. The Whiteman Park infrastructure includes:

• 78 buildings and other structures;
• 10 bores;
• 5 reticulation systems;
• 56 electric BBQ hotplates;
• 3 diesel generators;
• 7 distinct connection points to the Western Power network

Whiteman Park requires the supply of a dedicated primary electrical tradesperson (to be nominated in “Specified Personnel” below) to provide services under this contract, with a secondary tradesperson as backup, rather than a large team of personnel allocated to jobs based on their availability.

This is because, due to the size of Whiteman Park it’s essential that a consistent electrician be assigned to service the contract to ensure they gain and a retain good familiarity with and knowledge of the grounds and extensive electrical infrastructure present.
