Description

The Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia (DAFWA) has a requirement for a suitably qualified Surveyor and Clearing contractor(s) of land for the State Barrier Fence – Yilgarn Gap.
The existing State Barrier Fence (SBF) stretches 1,170 kilometres (kms) from the Zuytdorp Cliffs north of Kalbarri to 35kms east of Ravensthorpe, bordering the agricultural region of the State. The purpose of the fence is to minimize the impact of migrating emus, wild dogs and kangaroos in the Southwest Land Division.
The Request covers the entire length of the Yilgarn Gap and is split into three (3) sections:
• Section 1 – Northern 60.55kms

• Section 2 – Central 51.88kms

• Section 3 – Southern 57.61kms

DAFWA reserves the right to award the contract to a single Respondent for all sections or multiple respondents to cover their requirements.
