Description
The automated sample processing system (ASPS) allows automated preparation of samples (using additions of chemicals and or dilutions, with mixing and or heating) prior to analysis on testing instruments such as Gas Chromatographs (GC) or High Performance Liquid Chromatographs (HPLC). In addition the ASPS must allow automated sample injection into GC.
Automation of sample preparation procedures offers several advantages; reduced chemical exposure to staff, reduced cost of test methods and improved performance in recoveries and reproducibility.
