Details

Awarded

Description

The National Measurement Institute (NMI) requires a number of liquid chromatograph-tandem mass spectrometers (LC-MSMS). The exact number and the type of instruments purchased will be determined through the tender process by taking into consideration the specific requirements for the testing needs of the anti-doping laboratory and budgetary restraints.

This instrument will be used for the analysis of drugs in complex biological matrices, such as steroid esters in dried blood spots (DBS) and serum. The instrument will be primarily operating in MRM and full scan modes on DBS, serum and plasma extracts that have undergone extensive cleanup. Robustness will be prioritised over sensitivity.
