Description
The Queensland Government is seeking to engage qualified and experienced real estate agencies to manage state-owned residential property assets on behalf of the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
It includes ensuring that properties owned by the department are properly managed and maintained under the legislative requirements of the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 and Property Agent and Motor Dealers Act 2000, and in line with government requirements.
Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include:
- marketing and rental of properties
- delivery of a range of minor and/or major maintenance services including sourcing of quotes for larger jobs
- tenant management
- regular inspections of properties
- reporting on condition of properties, tenant details and arrears
- issuing of relevant notices
- remedy of tenant arrears
- attendance in court matters
