QLD Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services
Purchase of a residential care service for young people with complex needs
Details
Description
The Department of Communities Child Safety and Disability Services (the department) engages non-government organisations to provide out-of-home care to young people when it is assessed that the separation of a child from their family is required to ensure the child's safety. Out-of-home care provides a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment for a child, while working towards either family reunification or an alternative permanency option.
This Request for Quote has been issued with the objective of purchasing an additional residential care service in the Far North Queensland (FNQ) region to meet the needs of young people in the care of the State who have complex needs and may have non-physical disabilities.
For detailed information on the specific services sought under this request for quote, please review the 'Requirements' in 'Section 1' of the request for quote document.
