WA Public Transport Authority
Supply of Train Lifting System for Nowergup Depot
Details
Description
The Contractor is to design, supply, manufacture, test, deliver, install, and commission a hybrid 6-car train and bogie lifting system at the Nowergup Depot I&M Building. This system must support lifting of C-Series and other PTA railcars to enable Alstom to perform heavy maintenance. The scope includes interface specifications with the building, factory and on-site testing, coordination with PTA’s D&C contractor and Alstom, training, manuals, spare parts, certifications, and warranties. The hybrid system integrates train lifting jacks with anvils and bogie jacks, allowing simultaneous train lifting and bogie removal, improving safety and efficiency over mobile jacks by minimizing misalignment risks.
