Description

South Metropolitan TAFE (SMTAFE) is one of Western Australia’s most diverse training providers that offers skills for pathways to employment and career development. SMTAFE is seeking the supply and delivery of Controller Area Network Bus (CAN-Bus) trainers.

A Controller Area Network is a robust vehicle bus standard designed to allow microcontrollers and devices to communicate with each other's applications without a host computer. It is a message-based protocol, designed originally for multiplex electrical wiring within automobiles, but can also be used in many other contexts.

To enable this technology to be taught to apprentices, SMTAFE requires dedicated CAN-Bus training equipment and associated instructional materials to service a class of sixteen students.
