Description of the goods and services to be provided

This procurement seeks a contractor to deliver Helicopter Sling Load operations for transporting multiple material loads to remote, non‑vehicle‑accessible sites. The provider must supply a suitably equipped helicopter operated by a qualified pilot with extensive sling load experience, supported by trained ground crew/dogmen, lifting gear, refuelling capability, and all equipment required for safe and compliant operations. The helicopter must lift at least 1 tonne using a long line suitable for rugged coastal terrain; a remote‑release hook is desirable. Operations involve delivering sandstone, hard rock, and track‑capping material to sites within Hat Head National Park near Arakoon, NSW. Two lift phases are planned: Phase 1 (late Feb–early Mar): approx. 35T sandstone steps (palletised) and 50T hard rock in bulka bags.Phase 2 (around April, TBC): approx. 150T capping material and possible waste removal. All materials will be stockpiled and lifted from Little Bay Precinct in Arakoon Nature Reserve, which is also the likely helicopter landing site. Flights will occur over several consecutive days between Little Bay and multiple coastal escarpment sites south toward Smoky Cape Lighthouse. All operations must comply with safety, aviation, NPWS policy, and environmental requirements.
