Provision of an Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectrometry (EDS/EDX) system

The EDX system, digital pulse processor, accessories, software, firmware,and any other components (the “Goods”) necessary for continuous operations and full functionality according to the specifications, whether they are specified in this document or not, must be available and supplied from the successful Tenderer and must be state-of-the-art, and of current production. Requirements include:
a) Installation and Commissioning of the Goods;
b) Hardware operational requirements;
c) Software operational requirements;

No demonstration, refurbished, prototype, discontinued or “in development” models will be accepted. If necessary, on request by Geoscience Australia, the Goods must be available for testing and evaluation, from the date of issue of the RTF.

Training of staff in the use of operating software and mechanical aspects (including maintenance if applicable) of the Goods is required.
