Provision of a Corporate Uniform for COMCAR Staff

COMCAR, within the Department of Finance (Finance), provides high quality car-with-driver services to a broad range of clients, including the Governor-General, the Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Senators and Members of Parliament, members of the Federal Judiciary and heads of Commonwealth agencies. COMCAR also provides transport and associated services to visiting Guests of Government such as Royalty, Heads of State and other foreign dignitaries as well as the delivery of ground transport services at major events (such as the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit, G20, CHOGM, APEC).

Finance is seeking a provider with the necessary experience and capacity to supply and/or manufacture uniforms for COMCAR staff on a national basis (the Services).

The Services sought include, but are not limited to:

• the supply and/or manufacture of a corporate uniform for COMCAR driving staff

• the supply and/or manufacture of a corporate uniform for COMCAR administrative staff

• a comprehensive, online uniform ordering and management system

• a comprehensive distribution process for delivery of uniforms

• an effective measuring system including provision of a suitable process for fitment and sizing of garments and accessories in all COMCAR locations

• co-ordinate repairs and alterations in a timely and effective manner in all COMCAR locations.

It is expected that the successful Supplier will be engaged for an initial period of three (3) years, with options to extend the arrangement for up to two (2) additional periods of one (1) to three (3) years each, exercisable at the sole discretion of Finance.
